1923 Maxim C-2 Fire Truck Randolph

The Maxim C-2 Fire Truck Randolph was created by Maxim Motor Company. The Company was founded in 1914 by a firefighter from Middleboro Massachusetts named, Carlton Maxim. The C series line as you see in the photo on the left was introduced in 1922. The C-2 was a 400 gpm pump as compare to C-1 which was only 350 gpm pump and the C-3 which was a 450 gpm pump. All C- model trucks were equipped with a 4 1/2 inc bore and 6 inch stroke Wisconsin engine, 4 cylinder, 4-speed transmission with shaft drive on a worm gear axle, a cast iron radiator and a Northern Rotary gear pump.
